Mrs. John E. Parker

Mrs. John E. Parker (Juanita Tansey) made a gift to establish this scholarship fund in the name of her late husband, John E. Parker. Mr. Parker graduated from the College of Arts and Sciences in 1930 and from the Law School in 1932. Mr. Parker was a member of the Tulane Law Review for two years and also was inducted into the Order of the Coif. Mrs. Parker graduated from Newcomb College in 1933 and from the Law School in 1935. Mr. Parker practiced law for many years in New Orleans, with an emphasis on oil and gas law and probate law.

The John E. Parker and Juanita Tansey Parker Scholarship Fund provides scholarship support to deserving students in the Tulane University Law School.

The John and Juanita Parker Scholarship supports scholarships in the Tulane University School of Medicine.
