Susruta Endowed Fund

The Susruta Endowed Fund be and hereby is established in perpetuity as an
endowed fund, the income is used to support resident education at Tulane University School of Medicine, or its successor. The donor desires that preference be given to educational opportunities related to the history of medicine and/or ethics. These educational opportunities may be made available virtually or in-person to Tulane Ophthalmology residents, fellows, faculty, and staff, as well as to other Tulane medical students, master’s program students, residents, and fellows. If, in the opinion of the Chair of the Department of Ophthalmology, this gift cannot be usefully applied for its original purpose, the Chair may direct funds towards other educational purposes in the Department of Ophthalmology, or its successor.
