Khan A. and Yasmin U. Akmal Scholarship I Endowed Fund

The Khan A. and Yasmin U. Akmal Scholarship I Endowed Fund provides need-based scholarship support to undergraduate students in the Tulane University School of Science and Engineering, or its successor. The donors desire that when selecting the recipients, special consideration should be given for students studying chemical engineering, or its successor. If no student studying chemical engineering, or its successor, can be identified in a given year, then the donors desire that special consideration be given to students studying engineering, or its successor. Tulane may modify or disregard any selection criteria if determined in whole or in part to be contrary to law or then existing university policy.
