Khan A. and Yasmin U. Akmal Scholarship II Endowed Fund

The Khan A. and Yasmin U. Akmal Scholarship II Endowed Fund provides need-based scholarship support to undergraduate students studying in the Newcomb Art Department, or its successor, in the Tulane University School of Liberal Arts, or its successor. The donors desire that when selecting the recipients, special consideration should be given to students studying studio art, or its successor. If no students studying studio art, or its successor, can be identified in a given year, then the donors desire that special consideration be given to students studying in the Newcomb Art Department, or its successor, in the Tulane University School of Liberal Arts, or its successor. Tulane may modify or disregard any selection criteria if determined in whole or in part to be contrary to law or then existing university policy.
